Timbuk2 - A brand specializing in bags and backpacks, established in 1989 in San Francisco, USA. Their standout product is the Messenger Bag.
The model I chose is the Command Messenger Bag, available in various colors. I opted for the Carbon Full-Cycle Twill (gray with a hint of olive), size S. This model was introduced by the brand in 2014, and I purchased it at the end of 2019. Currently, the brand no longer officially sells this model, replacing it with simpler and more modern designs. However, I still have a fondness for this style, as it exudes a nostalgic and practical vibe compared to newer models.
Overall Design
- The exterior is crafted from a denim-like material, giving it a sturdy and substantial feel.
- The interior is lined with vibrant red polyester fabric, not only making it visually striking but also aiding in easy item retrieval.
- The shoulder strap is broad, accompanied by a generously padded shoulder pad, ensuring a sturdy and stable fit, even when carrying a substantial load.
- Dimensions: 43x35x13 cm; Capacity: 18L.
Compartment Distribution
Front Section
- The main lock features a G-shaped hook, with 4 adjustable notches to accommodate varying amounts of items.
- Opening the flap reveals a spacious main compartment, suitable for documents, notebooks, with a small pen holder and business card slot. For short trips, it can comfortably hold a couple of sets of clothing and personal items.
- In addition to the G-shaped hook mentioned earlier, there are also 2 Velcro straps to enhance protection. There's a detachable cover to suppress noise when not in use.
- The back of the flap is covered with a water-resistant TPU layer to shield the contents from light rain.
- When closed, there are 3 front-accessible compartments, including:
(2) Vertical slot compartment on the left side, lined with coarse fabric (used for keys).
(3) Horizontal slip compartment, with Polyester lining, very spacious (can hold a large notebook or even a U-lock).
Back Panel
- The back panel features a horizontal bar for sliding the retractable luggage handle.
- This section is dedicated to holding a laptop or tablet, lined with Microfiber fabric. According to the specifications, it accommodates up to a 13' laptop. However, my MacBook Pro 13' fits with plenty of room to spare. Additionally, there's a small compartment for my 10.5' iPad Pro.
- This compartment also has a zippered closure, allowing separation from the front section. It can be flipped to one side to easily pass through airport security scanners without removing all electronic devices.

Nhược điểm
- Vì làm từ chất liệu dày, nên túi khá nặng, trọng lượng tự nó là 1.17 kg.
- Khi để túi lên bề mặt phẳng, nó không tự đứng được và cần phải được dựa vào một bề mặt khác.
