I wouldn't say too many, but certainly, more photos are being taken nowadays. Everyone has the desire to preserve and archive memories for later reflection, facilitated greatly by a variety of advanced technological devices available. Some argue that taking photos distracts them from fully enjoying real-life experiences, but I believe it depends on their perspective and whether they are overly concerned with capturing perfect images.

2. What kinds of photos do people like to take?

I think most photos taken nowadays are intended for sharing on social media. It's a new form of self-expression that is highly accessible, so people tend to capture moments that can attract attention or tell a story. Personally, my friends and I often take photos of each other when we go out or do something special, not necessarily for the internet, as we don't post much, but more for reminiscing later.

3. Do you believe equipment is crucial for photography?

Absolutely. Each camera type emits a distinct energy, and it's invaluable to have such variety. Photography has always fascinated me, and though I'm not a professional, I rely on two devices daily. One is my iPhone, equipped with 3 cameras including ultra-wide lenses – ideal for capturing landscapes. The other, my favorite, is a vintage digital camera with remarkable color quality, compact enough to fit in your pocket. I use it mainly for portraits and fashion shoots, and my Instagram followers often inquire about the equipment I use, which is quite flattering to me.

4. Is being a professional photographer a desirable career? Why?

I believe the desirability of a career hinges on two factors: the satisfaction it brings and the livelihood it provides. I've read that pursuing art involves taking significant financial risks, but I also believe that staying receptive to new knowledge and opportunities can lead to success in any field.

The instant gratification from receiving attention in the form of likes, comments, or shares, whether from strangers or family members, can be quite compelling and drives them to post more and more. It almost feels like an addiction to me. Honestly I’m no different; I used to share my entire life online, but after realizing its detrimental effects on my personal life, I've decided to take a step back and maintain a lower profile.
