I have diverse moods during the course of the day. However, as far as my preferred period of the day is concerned, personally, I like the evening, in particular as the clock strikes midnight.

I would choose the evening or late night over the morning for a variety of reasons. But more than anything, I think this is because the night would be most appropriate for my way of life. For a night owl like myself, the sunshine always makes things seem too bright and clear. While everything is going on, there are a plethora of deadlines and tasks, not to mention the ongoing need for social connection. If someone asks, it’s extremely overpowering during the day.

The night, however, differs greatly from the other times of the day. I’m never bothered by anyone at night. It is the moment when I can really have some time to spend alone. I enjoy staying up late, locking myself in my quiet room, and enjoying some old television or listening to my all-time favorite music collection. My nightly regimen actually keeps me energized and gets me ready for the next day emotionally and physically.

During nighttime, I find myself able to work intensely while others sleep. Studies highlight the peak focus between 3 and 4 a.m., when the brain functions optimally due to ideal temperatures. Moreover, this period unleashes all creative energies.

As much as I enjoy having the night to myself, I occasionally spend the night with a couple of my closest friends. Another reason to be enamored with the night is that since we are all office employees who work from eight to six, the only time we have to fulfill our wildest fantasies is at night.
