9. Hue Junction Bridge
After 18 months of construction, on March 29, 2015, the bridge was inaugurated to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang city (March 29, 1975 – March 29, 2015). The three-tiered overpass, considered the largest in Vietnam at that time, went into operation, putting an end to traffic accidents at the intersection of National Highway 1A and the North-South railway.
The bridge holds rich symbolism, with the Linga tower representing masculine energy and the Yoni loop symbolizing feminine energy. The combination of yin and yang creates the prosperity and regeneration of the universe. These are mythical creatures from the Champa culture.
