Do you think tourists may come across bad things in other cities? 5. Do most people like planned travelling?6. Why is the noise pollution worse in tourism cities than in other cities?

1. What are the reasons why people sometimes travel to other cities or countries?
There are several reasons that come to mind. Firstly, many people are simply addicted to traveling and enjoy exploring new destinations. Secondly, vacations provide an opportunity to recharge our batteries after a year of hard work or study. Experiencing new places, meeting new people, and trying different cuisines can be rejuvenating. Moreover, some individuals travel to escape extreme weather conditions, such as the scorching heat in southern Vietnam during summer, opting for cooler seaside locations.
- bitten by the travel bug: rất thích du lịch
- hit the road: bắt đầu hành trình
- As a matter of fact: sự thật là
- it’s like a furnace: nóng như cái lò thiêu vậy
2. What makes historical cities popular?
In my view, historical cities attract visitors primarily due to their rich heritage and cultural significance. People are fascinated by the origins and historical importance of these places. For instance, lesser-known historical sites can be appealing as they offer insights into our ancestors' lives. Additionally, historical cities are popular tourist destinations because they offer a wide range of activities, such as vibrant nightlife, guided tours, and unique festivals that cannot be found elsewhere.
- off the beaten track: xa xôi
3. Why do places with historical sites actively promote tourism?
As previously mentioned, historical sites naturally attract visitors due to their connection to history, making them lucrative with minimal investment in infrastructure. Moreover, tourism development in these sites can enhance local livelihoods. Furthermore, it contributes to cultural preservation and historical awareness.
- make a living: kiếm sống
- On a larger scale: ở tầm lớn hơn
4. Can tourists encounter challenges in other cities?
Absolutely. Travelers may face difficulties in various cities, not limited to ancient or modern ones. These challenges often stem from local business practices and treatment of foreigners. Additionally, tourists might encounter inflated prices and fall prey to scams due to unfamiliarity with local norms.
- fall victim to: thành nạn nhân của cái gì
5. Do most people prefer organized travel?
I believe many of us appreciate a well-planned itinerary as it enhances the travel experience. We have prepared thoroughly to ensure everything goes smoothly, knowing exactly where, when, and how to dine, explore, and sightsee, while also being mindful of avoiding common tourist pitfalls. Frankly, traveling without a plan rarely leads to satisfaction, and that's a lesson worth sharing.
- have done our homework: đã nghiên cứu về cái gì
- tourist traps: bẫy du khách (chỗ bán đồ đắt… cho các khách du lịch)
6. What causes higher noise pollution in tourist cities compared to others?
I haven't considered this before, but let's examine it. Noise pollution in cities often arises from construction sites, constant vehicle honking, and bustling human activities, which are more prevalent in tourist-centric metropolises. These cities must improve infrastructure and transport systems to accommodate the influx of visitors. Additionally, businesses may resort to louder methods to attract tourist attention, exacerbating noise levels.
