Last summer, my family and I had the pleasure of spending a week in Dalat, which ended up being the highlight of my vacation. Since the days of French colonialism, this location, also known as the hill town of Da Lat, has been a favorite for retreats. Dalat still has a tranquil and calming ambiance despite its growth and changes.

We arrived in Dalat in the late afternoon, and the sunset above Ho Xuan Huong lake took my breath away. The scene was truly stunning as the sun slowly lowered. Later that night, we splurged on beef hotpot, a local delicacy that was not only tasty but also reasonably priced in comparison to where we lived. We continued on to the Night Market where we sampled a variety of dishes and fruits. While there, I got the opportunity to enjoy the delectable “Banh Trang Nuong,” the ideal delicacy for a cool night.

During our week-long stay in Dalat last summer, my family and I had a wonderful time. This was the highlight of my vacation. Since the French colonial period, this location, also known as the mountain town of Dalat, has been a popular resort destination. Despite its development and changes, Dalat still maintains its tranquil and peaceful atmosphere.
