On August 29th, Asia Park - Da Nang's Asian Park will officially unveil the record-breaking light path to welcome the July and Mid-Autumn Festival.

As part of the enchanting Asian Glitter Festival series, the lantern path promises to bring a special moonlit season to Da Nang.

Illuminated by thousands of exquisite lanterns, this will be the longest lantern-lit path in Vietnam to date. Asia Park's management expects that upon completion, the project will establish a Guinness record as the 'Longest Lantern-Lit Path in Vietnam' with a total length of thousands of meters.

For the past month, nearly 100 talented artisans from Hoi An have been tirelessly working day and night to complete thousands of unique lanterns of various shapes and colors to create this record-breaking light installation within the Asia Park premises.

Step through the grand gate of Asia Park, visitors are sure to be amazed by the dazzling lights of thousands of lanterns, big and small. The record-breaking light installation comprises 4 main sections:

Central Area: Featuring a gigantic dome adorned with hundreds of traditional bamboo frame paper lanterns. Walking amidst the glittering and mystical lights feels like wandering in a fairyland. Childhood memories suddenly rush back with lanterns depicting old folklore, lanterns trailing troops, or lanterns shaped like fish swimming through the air. Especially notable are the appearances of many famous world cartoon characters in the form of lanterns, bringing joy and excitement to the little ones.

Japan Zone: With hundreds of lanterns showcasing Japanese culture, notably the koi fish lanterns symbolizing the strength and courage of Japanese men. The dome is crafted from Chouchin - traditional Japanese lanterns with six sides adorned with special Chōchin characters (an ancient Japanese script). Within the Japanese architectural setting, the lanterns become even more splendid as they connect with the cultural space and consciousness of the Japanese people.

Indonesia Zone: Hundreds of lanterns will recreate the diverse colors of Indonesia with rarely seen whimsical lantern shapes hanging from trees or traditional black and white patterned lanterns imbued with Indonesian essence.

Singapore Zone: Exploring the Singapore zone during the 'Dazzling Asian Glitter Festival', visitors will be overwhelmed by the dominating red color - the iconic lantern color of the Chinese. There, one cannot overlook the dragon-shaped lanterns - symbols of sacred power meticulously crafted by the most skillful artisans. The multicolored lantern walls will provide a fantastic backdrop for visitors wishing to capture magical moments at the Asia Park Lantern Festival.

Lanterns are a traditional cultural heritage being revived in the minds of the people. With the longest planned lantern path in Vietnam, viewers will be delighted by unique artistic designs and enchanting radiance. This is also a special occasion for Asia Park to officially introduce the top 5 outdoor games in Da Nang. They are Firefllies Forest: you will be lifted up by 3 powerful axes. Kabuki Truck will make you spin clockwise and be lifted high by sturdy crane arms in the realm of cars. Ninja Flyer turns players into spinning Ninjas, soaring through the air like true Japanese Ninjas. Garuda Valley with a track length of up to ¼ km and rapid height changes will take players flying in the air like Tarzan to explore the thrilling mountain forest. The high-speed roller coaster designed with 360-degree twists and turns, a long track length will provide intense and exhilarating sensations as you tumble from a height of 33.6m and plummet down at a speed of 75km/h.
