This refers to the simultaneous viewership at an Esports event or tournament, typically measured across various major online platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Gaming, or other broadcasting websites.

This year, it comes as no surprise that League of Legends (LoL) clinched the top spot. Thanks to the explosive World Championship, coupled with Korea's knack for promoting the game's 'pinnacle' image, LoL attracted nearly 6.5 million concurrent viewers. This figure far surpasses another darling title by Riot, VALORANT, even almost five times more than the 'forefather' DOTA 2 and equal to the combined viewership of six 'wealthy giants' Fortnite.

Meanwhile, the once-famous comrade, PUBG, six years ago, has completely 'vanished' with numerous disappointing achievements. Despite Krafton's efforts to salvage the game with many enticing strategies such as gameplay changes, map building, new equipment, and hosting major tournaments... Ironically, the Mobile version of this game has achieved resounding success. PUBG Mobile even outshines Arena of Valor, a tier above.

Many gamers realize that, despite both being Mobile adaptations, the fates of LMHT and PUBG, 'children' of the gaming world, are vastly different. While PUBG Mobile thrives, organizing international tournaments in abundance, Arena of Valor is continuously labeled a 'dead game'. Without going far, just looking at the 'paltry' views, hovering around a few hundred for Vietnamese Arena of Valor Esports is enough to see the extent of its 'woefulness'.
