Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn để mô tả một hành động, sự việc diễn ra ở một thời điểm trong quá khứ, và vẫn tiếp tục diễn ra ở hiện tại, có thể còn diễn ra ở tương lai.
Ví dụ:
She has been playing video games since 4pm. (She is still playing videos games now)

How long? Structure
Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn thường được sử dụng trong cấu trúc “How long…? (bao lâu)’’ để diễn tả thời gian sự việc, sự vật diễn ra.
