According to recent tests by a YouTube user, it seems both iPhone 6S and 6S Plus continue to function normally after a considerable time submerged in water, up to 60 minutes.
As seen in the video below, after 60 minutes of immersion, both iPhones seem to perform quite well. After being dried off, both the 3.5mm headphone jack and lightning port function normally. The camera and screen also show no signs of glitching.
For users, this experiment doesn't mean they should take their expensive iPhones for a swim or even use them in light rain. Apple doesn't mention the water resistance of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, so if the device is damaged by this type of liquid, it's unlikely to be covered by warranty.

This experiment provides reassurance to those using iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, in case they accidentally drop them in water. Additionally, it demonstrates to users that despite lacking water resistance like other Android phones, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are still capable of running well even when submerged in water for an extended period.
