The Name of Windows 10 Redstone Update
Redstone 5 is just the codename for the next major update to Windows 10, so we can anticipate Microsoft giving the update a more memorable name. Previous major Redstone updates were named Anniversary Update, Creators Update, and Fall Creators Update.
The initial name for the Redstone 4 update was Spring Creators Update, but by the end, everything changed, and the update was officially named April 2018 Update. It's highly probable that Redstone 5 will be named October 2018 Update, or perhaps a similar name.
Release Date of Windows 10 Redstone 5
When Will Windows 10 Redstone 5 Officially Land on Users' Computers? Although the software giant does not provide information on the official release date of the update, it is highly likely that Windows 10 Redstone 5 will be officially released around late 2018, possibly around September or October.
Following that, another major Redstone update will be released in March or April of the following year. Microsoft has already released an early version of Redstone 5 for some users who have signed up for the Windows Insider testing program. Everything seems to be on track.

Enhanced Windows 10 Fluent Design Interface
Microsoft introduced the Fluent Design user interface in the Windows 10 April 2018 Update. And at the Build 2018 Developer Conference, the software giant announced that Fluent Design will be enhanced with more effects and features in Redstone 5.
Beyond expectations, standard Windows programs will adopt the Fluent Design interface and some eye-catching 3D effects for Mixed Reality experiences.
Enhanced Multitasking with Sets
One of the highly anticipated features coming in Redstone 5 is Sets. With this feature, multitasking in Windows 10 will become smarter.
The idea is to bring the tabbed interface from web browsers to the entire operating system interface, allowing users to run multiple tabs of the same app, or multiple apps, folders, web pages in a single window and split tabs inside.
At the Build Conference, Microsoft also provided more details about the Sets feature in Windows 10. Users can open a document and click on links to open them in tabs alongside the document.
Enhanced Progressive Web Apps
Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are web pages (or web apps) deployed as native apps and function similarly to regular apps, providing notifications to users, live tiles, and even working offline on Windows 10. At the Build 2018 Conference, Microsoft presented how web apps will be better integrated in Redstone 5.
The software giant also revealed that users can download apps directly from the Edge browser.
Improvements to Your Phone App
The Your Phone app has been significantly improved, allowing users to easily interact with their smartphones through Windows 10. Additionally, users can read and reply to messages directly from their Windows 10 device, as well as effortlessly share files, photos, and documents between their computer and phone.
iCloud Clipboard
Another notable new feature discovered by Redstone 5 users early on is the iCloud clipboard, enabling users to copy and paste across different devices. Users can activate this new feature by using the Windows + C shortcut.
Subsequently, copied content can be pasted on other Windows 10 devices as well as on Android and iOS devices in the future.
Improved Search Interface
Finally, Windows 10 Redstone 5 enhances the search interface, making it easier to search for apps, documents, and files.
