Effects of Heartsteel and Activation Milestones
The reason Mytour states that Heartsteel is safer than other jackpot tribes is because Riot has bestowed upon this group a very unique effect. Upon activating the first milestone, a Heart reservoir box will appear on the left side of the board. Every time you defeat an enemy champion or lose a match, Heartsteel champions will help you accumulate points for that box. The box will open after every 4 rounds, regardless of how many points you've accumulated, and the amount of rewards received corresponds to the accumulated points prior.
The activation milestones of Heartsteel will significantly expedite your point accumulation for the box. Especially at milestone 9, you become almost invincible:
- Milestone 3: x1 times the amount of Hearts received
- Milestone 5: x2.5 times the amount of Hearts received.
- Milestone 7: x5.5 times the amount of Hearts received.
- Milestone 9: x12 times the amount of Hearts received, jackpot cycle changes from every 4 rounds to every round. Especially, after jackpotting, 80% of the accumulated Hearts will be retained for the next jackpot.
