1. Expressing opinions on the individual responsibility amidst the environmental degradation of our green planet - Sample 1:
Hello, Ms. and everyone!
Environmental pollution remains a burning issue, capturing the attention of everyone. However, few can stand up and take personal responsibility when the Earth is severely damaged. The green planet is a collective possession, so each individual bears the responsibility of protecting and nurturing it.
Currently, Earth is declining rapidly. The forest area is significantly decreasing, climate change is causing ice to melt, leading to natural disasters. Soil erosion results in severe landslides. Clean water sources, vital for sustaining life, are becoming scarce and depleted, pushing many species of flora and fauna to the brink of extinction. Even humans are suffering significant losses in life and property due to the wrath of Mother Nature.
So why do these things happen? It's because of humans—the species at the top of the evolutionary chain. Through their unprecedented development, humans have built and designed increasingly modern, convenient, and abundant societies. However, as more urban areas emerge, more resources disappear. For economic development and international competition, many countries have disregarded scientific warnings, depleting marine forests without hesitation.
To protect our own lives as well as all creatures on Earth, we need to quickly implement corrective measures. Mobilize people to clean up the surrounding environment and limit indiscriminate waste disposal. To achieve this, each of us needs to cultivate and practice, becoming an example for the community to follow. The state and various levels of government should also be more vigilant in social management. Strictly penalize individuals and groups who deliberately violate, destroy, and waste natural resources.
Nevertheless, there are still many people who remain indifferent, oblivious to the painful truth about our shared Earth. They believe that as long as they don't litter, they are not responsible for cleanup. This is entirely wrong. Everyone needs to be aware that the Earth belongs to everyone. Preserving and protecting it is safeguarding the survival of humanity.
In conclusion, environmental protection is the best solution to improve the 'health condition' of the green planet.

2. Expressing opinions on the individual responsibility amidst the environmental degradation of our green planet - Sample 2:
Welcome, ma'am, and all of you to today's discussion session!
As everyone knows, Earth is increasingly being damaged. However, who holds the responsibility for restoring and protecting the environment? Is there anyone among us who is 'innocent, an outsider' when the green planet is slowly dying away?
The answer is 'no' because humans, along with other species, live and develop under the shared roof named Earth. Humanity proudly considers itself at the forefront of evolution. We exploit resources recklessly, forcing nature to serve us. This leads to countless negative impacts on the environment, such as air pollution, scarce clean water, soil erosion, causing the extinction of numerous species and even plunging human life into hardship and misery.
And these happen due to human urbanization. We cut down trees for wood, clear forests to build factories and workshops, excavate land to search for minerals, hunt rare animals for trade, and all these actions have been happening for centuries, depleting resources beyond recovery. Additionally, a significant portion of the population still lacks awareness, believing that the responsibility for cleaning up and protecting the environment belongs to the government, laborers, and sanitation workers. With such a mindset, it's challenging for society to develop and regenerate life for Earth.
So, what should we do to overcome this negative situation? First and foremost, everyone should focus on self-improvement and development. We must consciously recognize the importance of nature, treating Earth as our beloved home to preserve and protect. The government should impose appropriate penalties for violations. If dealt with casually, similar incidents will recur, pushing Earth to the brink of destruction.
In conclusion, everyone in the community needs to have the awareness to preserve and protect nature. Only by learning to live in harmony with nature can we create a better world for ourselves and future generations.
Above is my presentation. Looking forward to receiving feedback from you, ma'am, and everyone!
