Fix the IDM Fake Serial Number error
Method 2: Edit within IDM installation file
Step 1: To execute this method, first, completely close the IDM tool by right-clicking on the IDM icon in the system tray and selecting Exit as shown below.
Step 2: Next, open the Run dialog by pressing the Windows + R keys and paste the path to the IDM installation folder below into the Run dialog, then press Enter or OK.

Step 3: The directory containing the IDM installation files appears. Locate the file named 'IDMGrHlp.exe' or 'IDMGrHlp'. At this point, you can rename the file to any name you prefer or delete it (deletion is recommended for convenience).

Step 5: Rename the copied file to IDMGrHlp, similar to the name of the file you deleted.
