Dường như sau nhiều lần giảm sức mạnh, Zeri vẫn tiếp tục mất cân bằng.
Debuting at the beginning of the 2022 season as a new Marksman, Zeri quickly proved its flaws by undergoing continuous power reductions. According to Riot's own update statistics, Zeri has been nerfed up to 12 times in just 9 patches, an unprecedented frequency of power reduction. Some even jokingly say that Zeri is becoming Riot's second Akali.
And this observation is not wrong at all, as even top world League of Legends players have voiced complaints about Zeri. Most recently, Gen.G's Ruler stated that despite numerous power reductions, Zeri still appears too strong due to its extremely unreasonable scaling ability. He also admitted that this crucial factor helped Gen.G defeat DK in the LCK Summer 2022.
Question: You had a great match using Zeri, what are your thoughts on this champion?
Gen.G Ruler: Honestly, DK made it challenging for us in all three games. In the third game, we realized that if we effectively utilize Zeri's long-range scaling ability, we would have a significant advantage. The truth is, Zeri's W skill is still too powerful in long-range scaling, and it needs to be nerfed in the near future.
If you didn't know, Zeri's W skill - High Voltage Interaction has an interaction ratio with AD up to 130%, ensuring critical hits when attacking champions and minions. This allows Zeri, even with physical damage-oriented items, to have extremely powerful long-range scaling, surpassing even mages.
In the recent match against DK, Ruler executed numerous crucial long-range engagements using this skill, disrupting the opponent's combat strategy. This ability even managed to eliminate 2 vital members of DK, securing a spectacular victory for Gen.G. Clearly, having a Marksman, fully equipped with physical damage items, capable of dealing such potent magic damage is something hard to accept.
Therefore, in the upcoming patches, it won't be surprising if Zeri continues to undergo power reductions or loses some effects. Hopefully, Riot will make timely adjustments to ensure that this character does not become overly dominant during the upcoming World Championship 2022.
