Both of these quality-of-life (QOL) changes are implemented to make the Genshin Impact player experience smoother. Especially, those who enjoy thoroughly looting chests across the map and never missing a Primogem will greatly appreciate it.

Enhancing the mission system
For quite some time, many Genshin Impact players have been frustrated with quests triggering messages like 'this character is currently involved in another task.' To make matters worse, these messages occasionally overlap, preventing some players from progressing and requiring assistance from miHoYo.

In Genshin Impact 4.6, this issue will be partially addressed. According to leaks, this version will introduce a 'Focus Mode' that allows players to smoothly complete main quests without interference from other tasks involving the same character or location. Upon activating Focus Mode, players will experience the following changes:
- In some cases, players may still need to complete other quests before proceeding with the Focus Mode-enabled quest.
- Progress in Co-op Events will be paused. After completing the main quest, players need to claim Co-op Event progress to continue the storyline.
- Progress in other quests will be temporarily halted. Players can resume them after completing the Focus Mode-enabled quest.

This new feature will help players avoid getting stuck between a slew of quests as before, significantly improving the Genshin Impact gameplay experience.

The second significant but minor change in this experience update is the improvement to the game's Treasure Compasses. Previously, when it detected a treasure chest, players only received a faint trail that disappeared quickly, making treasure hunting quite challenging.
Now, whenever players use the Compass and there's a chest in the area, it will directly display the chest's shape on the map, making it easier for Genshin Impact players to locate it. Of course, this isn't a '100%' solution because there are still multi-layered areas that can make finding chests somewhat difficult, but it's a considerable improvement compared to before.

Additionally, this change only affects how the Treasure Compass guides players to chests, not how it discovers them. Therefore, Mytour is confident that players still cannot use it to find hidden chests (buried or part of puzzles). You'll still need to rely on YouTube guides or the game's interactive map to uncover all of Teyvat's chests.
