The Crimson Nether
'It's ugly but its structure is beautiful' is the phrase the author wants to use for The Crimson Nether. This 5-star weapon offers the highest critical rate in the game, while its low attack stat is compensated not by one, but by two effects that increase attack based on the wielder's elemental mastery. As a result, for the majority of the time, characters wielding it will receive an attack stat increase of 80% of their elemental mastery.

Who else besides Cyno is a proficient user of this weapon? The first answer that comes to mind is undoubtedly Xiangling, the 'spear deity' of Teyvat. She even favors this weapon over the Primordial Jade Cutter or Staff of Homa. Additionally, Hu Tao, Rosaria (Cryo build) will also wield Deshret's helm with great prowess.
Aquatic Weakness
Although considered a weapon exclusively for Yelan, Yelan herself rarely employs this weapon before CM1 and often lends it to other characters instead. The reason for this is because at CM0, Yelan is quite energy-starved and is better suited to weapons like Endless Hymn or even The Catch, rather than her own trident.

Meanwhile, for other bow-wielding DPS characters, Aquatic Weakness is a decent alternative. Despite its slightly low attack stat, the 20% damage increase when near enemies and the 88.2% CRIT Rate are extremely valuable. Ganyu, Childe, Yoimiya will all appreciate this weapon.
Hunter's Path
Not many players own this bow because since its release, it has only appeared once in the weapon banner of patch 3.0. Those fortunate enough to possess the Hunter's Path will recognize it as a useful bow for many DPS characters, although not everyone can fully activate its effects.

At the current time (patch 4.3), we have quite a few characters who can fully utilize the effects of the Hunter's Path, including Tighnari, Ganyu, Amber, Faruzan, and Sara (although not all are DPS). However, all DPS characters using different bows benefit from the elemental damage buff it provides.

This could be considered the best 5-star weapon for DPS currently, although some recent unique characters like Neuvillette, Wriothesley cannot fully utilize its effects. Characters wielding it will enjoy high attack stats, a large CRIT Rate amount, and useful elemental damage increase effects.

Currently, we have Nahida, Yae Miko, Ningguang, and Lisa who can activate all 3 tiers of buffs, while many other characters will benefit from 2 tiers, and the majority will receive 1 tier. In fact, for players using Nahida as their main character, Kagura's Essence may even surpass the Thousand-Dreams Sword after a short period of time.
Celestial Weapon Set?
At present, these weapons in the series have vanished from the weapon banner – the last time a Celestial weapon appeared was in January 2022. However, theoretically, they could still make a comeback, so Mytour decided to give them a small mention in this article.

You might wonder why Mytour is mentioning this series, as Celestial weapons are not 'best in slot' for any character and might even disappoint players when they appear. But in reality, Mondstadt's weapon series still provides extremely useful stats:
- Celestial Wings: Its advantages include high attack stats, along with critical rate and critical damage bonuses. Many bow users will appreciate it, from DPS to support, from 4-star like Fischl, Sara to 5-star like Ganyu, Yoimiya, Yelan.
- Celestial Spine: Massive attack stats, decent energy recharge efficiency, plus critical rate and attack speed. It's slightly stronger than the Blackcliff Pole on Raiden's hands, useful for Xiangling, and generally good on any character needing energy recharge and attack efficiency.
- Celestial Sword: Similar to above, this green-hilted sword is very effective in the hands of support characters like Jean, Bennett, Xingqiu, Qiqi,... It's also useful for DPS!
- Celestial Tome: This weapon is often criticized for its excessively high attack stats. But for newer accounts, it can help you 'save' Bennett for the other half of the Lotus, and use support buffs for other stats.
- Celestial Arrogance: Sword-wielding characters in the game are usually not very popular, but you can see Celestial Arrogance shine in the hands of Beidou, Dori, Eula, Xinyan, and even Noelle in some slightly unusual builds.
