A gamer finds themselves in a tight spot right after the release of Banner 4.1.
The allure of Genshin Impact is indisputable, and with the recent launch of Banner 4.1, it's causing a global uproar. Introducing Neuvillette, this version is declared the most controversial, creating a challenging scenario. In just a month, the Hydro deity Furina will step into the spotlight. Currently, King of Dragons Neuvillette dominates, labeled as the 'game-breaking' character with overwhelming power.
This has left the majority of players, especially Free-to-Play (F2P) accounts, in a dilemma. The deity's power is undoubtedly a sought-after asset, yet the thunderous strike of the Supreme Judge's Heavy Hitter is equally formidable. With limited resources, the ideal scenario is selecting one character to invest in wholeheartedly. However, the debate continues on who that character should be.

Nevertheless, some gamers stand firm in their decisions. Recently, an account went all-in, spending 'in-game currency' in Genshin Impact to chase Neuvillette. After sharing this 'achievement,' many players were surprised, questioning why this individual could accumulate 'in-game debt.' Specifically, this debt is deducted from the Primogems displayed in the Banner interface.

In reality, this 'debt situation' can indeed happen. It's a peculiar rule by miHoYo. Officially announced, if a player successfully 'requests a refund' on the transaction platform, the Primogems in their account will immediately be deducted corresponding to the refunded amount. If there aren't enough Primogems, the balance will fall into the 'negative.'
During this time, gamers have one week to compensate for the missing amount after the refund. If the stipulated time is exceeded, the Genshin account will be permanently locked. Hence, the 'refund' process only occurs for a short period. Attempting to exploit the 'in-debt' mechanism will result in a warning and well-deserved penalties.

The relentless pursuit of goals in Genshin Impact demonstrates the game's allure and influence. However, the mentioned case serves as a warning for players to control and have a clear understanding of their spending. No matter how powerful and enticing a character is, gamers should avoid finding themselves in a situation of financial loss or being overwhelmed by fleeting emotions.
