Độ quan trọng của việc sử dụng các Cụm từ/Câu trong IELTS Speaking
Trong tiêu chí chấm khả năng sử dụng từ vựng tiếng Anh của IELTS Speaking – Lexical resource, bạn sẽ thấy bắt đầu từ band 5 đã xuất hiện từ “paraphrase” – diễn giải. Việc bạn ứng dụng cách diễn giải nghĩa là bạn có thể trình bày lại một đoạn ý tưởng đã được thể hiện trước đó nhưng với những câu từ hoàn toàn khác – chứng minh được trình độ tiếng Anh linh hoạt của bạn. Làm được điều này, điểm số IELTS Speaking của bạn sẽ được cải thiện đáng kể.
Below, Mytour invites you to explore some Phrases/Statements in IELTS Speaking that are considered extremely useful. These Phrases/Statements are mostly used in IELTS Speaking part 2, but some can also be applied in IELTS Speaking Part 1 and IELTS Speaking Part 3.
Phrases/Statements in IELTS Speaking Part 1 or 3

A: Yes of course. What I like most about it is it’s really fascinating and it allows me to understand the world around us. For instance, I recently read an article about solar panels and how to use them.

A: I would say it all depends. It seems to be quite simple to focus when a person is engaged in something they enjoy, while it may be a little challenging to focus on the task if the activity is boring for them.

Q: Do you prefer hot weather or cold weather?
A: Without a doubt / In all seriousness / To be totally upfront, I prefer cold weather because my skin will burn easily in hot weather, especially if it’s sunny.

Q: Would you like to be famous?
A: Yes, I wouldn’t think twice about it. Becoming a well-known singer has been my dream since childhood and I still can’t imagine how wonderful it could be to be recognised by the public.
No, not for the love of money: không làm/nghĩ gì đó dù bất cứ giá nào.
Q: Would you like to be famous?
A: No, not for the love of money. Being a celebrity also means you’ll have to face loads of problems once the curtain closes, especially privacy-related issues, and I wouldn’t risk that.

Phương pháp nên áp dụng khi sử dụng các Cụm từ/Câu nói trong IELTS Speaking
- Sử dụng chúng một cách tự nhiên. Mục tiêu của bạn là cho giám khảo biết rằng bạn có thể trò chuyện với người bản ngữ trong các tình huống thực tế.
- Biết khi nào nên sử dụng và áp dụng các Phrases/Statements khác nhau, vì không sử dụng chúng đúng cách sẽ ảnh hưởng đáng kể đến nội dung bài nói của bạn.
- Sử dụng các Phrases/Statements đa dạng. Học những từ vựng cần thiết.
- Luyện tập sử dụng các cụm từ và cách diễn đạt này trong các cuộc hội thoại hàng ngày để trở nên quen thuộc với chúng, không còn lúng túng khi đi thi IELTS Speaking nữa.
Điều không nên làm khi sử dụng các Cụm từ/Câu nói trong IELTS Speaking
- Không sử dụng các cụm từ quá mức trang trọng cho các câu hỏi đơn giản về bản thân và cuộc sống của bạn.
- Không sử dụng nhiều hơn Phrases/Statements trong một câu đơn giản, và cũng đừng “phô trương” quá mức khả năng ngữ pháp và từ vựng của bạn. Chỉ sử dụng những gì cần thiết để tránh việc mất kiểm soát làm câu trả lời mất tự nhiên.
