After upgrading to Windows 10 from older Windows versions, a folder named Windows.old is automatically created on the installation drive. In case of any issues with the updated Windows 10 and if you want to revert to the previous version, you can follow these steps to delete the Windows.old folder and free up additional disk space.
Step 1: Right-click on the Windows

Step 2: Wait a moment for it to scan, then click on Cleanup system files. Wait for it to scan again (this time takes longer).

Step 3: After the scan is complete, check as shown below.
