Skype is likely very familiar to the majority of computer and laptop users due to its stability and numerous features. While Skype is primarily used for video calls on phones, when used on a computer, it becomes a versatile tool for chatting, conversing, file sharing, and data sharing. The features supporting these activities make the user experience excellent. Currently, users can use Skype on smartphones or log in to Skype on the web or use the Skype app on a computer.

Step 1: Open the Skype app, on the software interface on your computer -> choose Create Account.
Step 2: Here, you can create a Skype account with a phone number as illustrated in the image below:
(1) - Choose the country dialing code of your current location. In Vietnam, select + 84 as shown in the descriptive image.
(2) - Enter the phone number you want to use to create your Skype account.
Next, click Next to proceed.
Afterwards, enter the information to create your Skype account.
(3) - Enter your Skype username.
(4) - Then provide your first or last name for your Skype user.
Then click Next to proceed.
After clicking Next, the Skype app will send a verification code to the phone number you just registered. Check the message for the code -> then enter it in box (5) as shown below -> and click Next.
Step 3: At this stage, you have successfully set up your Skype account using your phone number. Next, you only need to perform a few more basic settings to complete.
In the Choose Your Theme section, click on the icon resembling (6) to explore and select a Skype theme. Use the arrow icon (8) to proceed. If you wish to skip these settings, press Skip (7) to bypass the basic configurations.
Moving on to Add a profile picture , opt for Upload Photo and choose an image from your computer to set as your Skype avatar. After selection, click the arrow icon below to continue.
In the Test your audio section, adjust your audio levels in the Speakers category. To preview, click the triangle icon (Play). Next, press the arrow icon to proceed.
Lastly, the Set up your camera segment guides you in configuring your camera. If your computer has a camera, set it up here. If not, it will display No device found as shown below. Click OK to complete the process.
