Right from the name, many of you may have guessed that the Legion Slim 5i Gen 8 would have a slim and lightweight design, right? Specifically, the device measures 19.7-25.2 x 359.7 x 260.3 mm for the GPU RTX 4060/4070 version and 19.7-21.9 x 359.7 x 260.3 mm for the RTX 4050 version. The weight of the device is around 2.3 kg. Although it's not the thinnest and lightest, it's still very good for a 16-inch gaming laptop.

Legion Slim 5i Gen 8 features a square, masculine, and powerful overall look. The machine's edges are flat, and the corners have very subtle curves. There aren't many chamfer effects on the bottom edge, so the device maintains a certain ruggedness.
