- Online check-in on the airline's website/mobile check-in platform. (Check online check-in procedures of some airlines here: Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways, Jetstar…)
- Check-in via the automatic kiosk check-in system at the airport (Vietnam Airlines/Pacific Airlines/Vasco arranged opposite islands A/B, Bamboo Airways arranged opposite island H, Vietjet Air arranged two wings inside gates D5/D6).
For passengers without checked baggage, proceed to the security checkpoint after self check-in.
After completing procedures, passengers should quickly finish security checks and proceed to the departure gate; refrain from leaving the terminal to avoid missing the flight. During the security screening queue, if passengers anticipate potential flight delays, please contact customer service staff/airline representatives for assistance.

3. For security reasons, passengers should not wear sunglasses and always keep their luggage/property with them; do not leave them unattended to avoid loss.
4. Passengers should prepare relevant documents for security checks: National ID/Resident ID/Passport for adults; Birth certificate, birth registration for children, infants... or other substitute documents as required by law (Passengers must carry their card for boarding, personal documents to present to security personnel). For passengers on international flights, passports must be valid for at least 6 months.
5. Passengers are requested to remove coats/hats/shoes/belts, personal items to place in trays for scanning, do not share trays with others. During screening, passengers should actively monitor, check their luggage/property before leaving the screening area to avoid loss, picking up wrong items. Liquids, laptops/tablets should be placed separately, not with carry-on luggage when passing through the scanner. Prohibited items in luggage must comply with regulations (Detailed information displayed at check-in counters and before security scanners).
Passengers should queue up, maintain order, move according to the designated route/path during check-in and security screening. Strictly adhere to instructions from airport security personnel.
6. During peak Tet travel periods, the number of air passengers is high, passengers should proactively arrange their check-in time before departure 120 minutes for domestic flights and 180 minutes for international flights.
Check-in counters close 40 minutes prior to domestic flight departure and 50 minutes prior to international flight departure; boarding gates close 15 minutes prior to flight time.
To avoid overcrowding in the public waiting area, passengers should limit the number of relatives picking up or dropping off and avoid arriving too early before departure time.
7. Tan Son Nhat International Airport has transitioned from broadcasting flight information via announcements to displaying it on Flight Information Display Screens (FIDS). Flight information on these screens is continuously updated; passengers should pay attention to ensure they don't miss their boarding time. (The airport only maintains automatic broadcasting for 01 message “Gate Change – Thay đổi cửa khởi hành”).
