1. Ý nghĩa của cấu trúc without trong tiếng Anh là gì?

Đây là một cấu trúc ngữ pháp cơ bản nhưng lại có nhiều ý nghĩa khác nhau tùy thuộc vào ngữ cảnh của câu. Dưới đây là những ý nghĩa phổ biến của without khi được sử dụng trong câu tiếng Anh.

• Without sẽ có vai trò như là một giới từ trong tiếng Anh và mang ý nghĩa là thiếu một người, một sự vật hay một sự việc nào đó

2.1. Using without with Ving

In the without Ving structure, it conveys a meaning of 'without' or 'lacking' in something. In this structure, the subject of the sentence resembles the subject of Ving after the word without.

• I wake up early without an alarm clock 

(I wake up early without needing an alarm clock) 

• My mother left food overnight without spoiling

If the subject of the sentence does not match the subject of Ving, you can use the method of inserting the subject of Ving after the without structure with the object form.
