Quy tắc thêm đuôi -ing: – Động từ thường: Thêm -ing vào cuối động từ. – Động từ tận cùng bằng “e”: Bỏ “e” và đuôi -ing. – Động từ tận cùng bằng “ie”: Thay “ie” bằng “y” và thêm đuôi -ing. – Động từ ngắn âm tiết, tận cùng bằng một âm tiết, có một nguyên âm trước và kết thúc bằng một phụ âm khác “x”, “w”, “y”: Nhân đôi phụ âm cuối rồi thêm -ing. 4. Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Trong câu có các từ chỉ thời gian như: Now, right now, at the moment, at present, at + giờ cụ thể, tomorrow, this week/ month/ next year, next week/ next month/ next year, … Các từ diễn tả hành động xảy ra trước mắt như: Look!, listen!, keep silent!, … |
