'Hong Kong Spot' next to Dalat Market
Just a few hundred meters from Xuan Huong Lake, Dalat Market is not only the main commercial hub of the mountain town but also boasts numerous 'Instagrammable' spots attracting the younger crowd. Besides the underground market – formerly known as Dalat's night market named by locals – the bridge linking Dalat Market and Hoa Binh area is likened to streets in Hong Kong, becoming a beloved photography spot for quite some time now.

The exact coordinates of this bridge are near the intersection of Hoa Binh area, connecting with Phan Boi Chau street. The bridge's location is somewhat hidden, you have to pay close attention to notice it, tucked away as a secondary entrance beside the market, leading from Zone A of Dalat Market to the vintage market, also known as the thrift market, famous for selling second-hand items in the misty city. Thus, it's easier to find if you enter from inside Dalat Market (3rd floor).
From late afternoon to evening, the vintage market starts bustling with trading activities, so it gets quite crowded. During the day, there are fewer people, which is also the time when young people gather to take photos. From the bridge, you can gaze over the bustling scene around the market, with a view down to the road leading to the new Dalat Market area with tents of eateries on both sides, old buildings reminiscent of classic streets in Hong Kong.

It's a common scene here to see groups of young people taking turns posing along the bridge railing, especially in the middle section where old lamp posts add a vintage touch. Sometimes, you have to queue up and wait for your turn to catch the perfect frame. With each moment, each weather change, this place takes on a different vibe. With a skillful choice of angle, you can easily capture a photo that looks like a movie poster. The bridge has become quite famous on Dalat's tourist map. Not only international travelers but also many Vietnamese celebrities, especially fashionistas, choose this place as a backdrop for lookbook photoshoots, music videos, and more.

At the end of the bridge is a staircase leading to a café, BBQ spot on the rooftop of the old market - one of the hottest check-in spots on Instagram recently. The staircase is adorned with vibrant colors, against the backdrop of the blue sky, creating a magical photo spot. You can comfortably pose without worrying about the sun or rain thanks to the transparent canopy. Climbing plants, decorative lanterns sparkle at night, providing an ideal setting to admire the city's skyline.
