Today, Mytour will show you how to open hidden services or settings menus on your LG TV.
Steps
Access the Service Menu

Make sure you are using the correct remote control for your TV. While some third-party or universal remotes might access the service menu on your LG TV, you will have a higher chance of success if you use the remote that came with your TV.

Select a TV channel. Use the INPUT button on the remote control to set the TV as the input source, then select any channel.
- Skipping this step may prevent you from accessing the service menu.

Press and hold both the MENU on the remote control and the MENU on the TV. You need to press both buttons simultaneously.
- On some models, the MENU button might be replaced with SETTINGS or HOME.
- Some remote controls may require you to press and hold the OK button instead.

Release the buttons when prompted for a password. Once the password input field appears on the screen, you can release the MENU button on both the remote and the TV.

Enter the TV password. Try entering 0000 here to begin.

Press the ENTER button in the middle of the remote. Your password will be entered.
- You may need to press OK instead.

Try a different password if necessary. If "0000" doesn't work, try one of the following codes:
- 0413
- 7777
- 8741
- 8743
- 8878

Browse through the service menu. Once you've accessed the service menu, feel free to navigate through the options. You can use the service menu to adjust settings such as the USB options on the TV, system volume, and hardware version.
- Consider taking a screenshot or writing down the current settings so you can restore the TV to default if you accidentally change something important.
Access the Settings Menu

Ensure you're using the correct remote control for your TV. While some third-party or universal remotes may access the service menu on your LG TV, your chances of success are higher when using the remote that came with the TV.

Select a TV channel. Use the INPUT button on the remote control to set the TV as the input source, then select any channel.
- You may not be able to access the settings menu if you skip this step.

Press and hold the MENU button on the remote. Typically, you need to hold the MENU button for about 5 to 7 seconds.
- On some remote controls, you may need to press and hold the SETTINGS or HOME button instead.

Release the button when the password menu appears. Be quick to release the button as holding the MENU button too long may cause the TV to open another menu.

Enter 1105. This is the code used by all LG TVs to access the settings menu.

Press the ENTER button in the center of the remote. Your password will be entered.
- You may need to press OK instead.

Browse through the settings menu. The settings menu has an option to enable USB mode on the TV. There are also other options, such as "Hotel Mode," which alters how the TV operates.
- Consider taking a screenshot or writing down your current settings so you can revert the TV to default if you accidentally change any important configurations.
Advice
- Many LG TVs use different names for buttons that serve the same function. For example, the MENU button on this TV may be labeled as HOME or SETTINGS on another TV. The same applies to remote controls.
Warning
- Avoid changing advanced settings if you're unsure about the other options or functions. Modifying service or settings menus may cause the TV to malfunction.
