How to Add Extra Email Addresses to Gmail and Yahoo

In this guide, Mytour will show you how to add a new email address from Gmail or Yahoo to your existing Gmail or Yahoo account.

Open Gmail. Visit https://www.gmail.com/ in your browser. If you're already signed in, your primary inbox will open.

• If you are not signed into Gmail, enter your email address and password to log in before continuing.

Click on your profile icon. This is the avatar located at the top-right corner of your inbox. A drop-down menu will appear.

• If you haven't set a profile picture yet, the first letter of your name will appear against a colored background.

Click on Add account (Add an account). This option is located at the bottom-left corner of the drop-down menu. A new page will open.

Click on More options (More options). This link is located to the left of the NEXT button, which is green in color.

Click on Create account (Create an account). This menu appears near the More options link.

Enter your new account information. This includes:

• Full name
• New email address username
• New email password
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Your phone number
• Your current email address
• Your residence (e.g., Vietnam)

Click on Next step (Next step). This button is located in the bottom-right corner of the account creation section.

Scroll down and click on I AGREE (I agree). This option is located at the end of Google's terms of service agreement.

Click on Continue to Gmail (Continue to Gmail). This option is located in the middle of the page. Your new Gmail address will now be linked to your main Gmail account. You can switch between the two addresses by clicking on the profile icon at the top-right corner and selecting the account you want to use from the dropdown menu.

Open Gmail. Tap the Gmail app icon: a white envelope with a red 'M'. If you are already logged in, your inbox will appear.

• If you're not logged in, enter your Google email address and password, then tap Sign in (Log in).

Tap on ☰. This button is located in the top left corner of the screen.

Tap on Manage accounts (Manage accounts). This option appears below all the accounts that have been logged in on your iPhone.

Tap on ＋ Add account (Add account). This option can be found at the bottom of the page.

Tap on Google near the top of the page. This will open the Google login page.

• You may need to confirm that Google can use your iPhone information by tapping OK before proceeding.

Tap on More options (More options). This option is located in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Enter your username. This will determine your custom email address.

• For example, if you type nicklebackfan123, your email address will be "[email protected]".
• If the username is already taken, you'll be asked to choose a different one when you click NEXT.

Create a password. Enter your password in the "Create password" box, then re-enter the same password in the "Confirm password" box.

Add a phone number. Enter your phone number in the "Phone number" field. Alternatively, you can click Skip at the lower left corner of the screen if you prefer not to add a phone number to your Gmail.

• If you add a phone number, you may be asked to verify it by entering a code sent by Google via the Messages app on the next screen.

Click I AGREE at the bottom of the page. This will confirm your agreement.

Click on the NEXT button located at the bottom of the screen. A new account will be added to your Gmail application, and you will be signed in. You can access it anytime by tapping ☰ and selecting your profile image (which may feature the first letter of your name on a colored background).

Access Notifications by swiping down from the top of your screen. A window with various icons will appear.

Scroll down and click on Accounts (Account). This section is located near the middle of the Settings page.

Click on ＋ Add account (Add account). You can find this option at the bottom of the screen.

Click on Google at the top of the page. The Gmail login page will open.

Click on Or create a new account (Or create a new account). This link is located at the bottom of the page. By clicking it, you will be redirected to the account creation page.

Enter your name. Type your first and last names into the corresponding fields, "First name" and "Last name".

Create a password. Enter your password in the "Create password" box and re-enter the same password in the "Confirm password" box.

Open Yahoo. Go to https://www.yahoo.com/ from your browser. You will be redirected to the Yahoo homepage.

• If you are not already signed in, click Sign In at the top right of the screen and enter your Yahoo email address and password.

Click on Mail. This is located in the top right corner of the Yahoo homepage. Your Yahoo inbox will open.

Click on Settings (Settings). This option is located in the top right of the page. A dropdown menu will appear.

• If you do not see Settings, click the blue button One click away from your upgraded inbox at the bottom left of your inbox to switch to the new interface.

Click on More Settings (More Settings). This button is at the bottom of the dropdown menu. The Settings page will open.

Nhấn Add (Thêm). Đây là nút màu xanh nằm dưới mục "Email alias". Một trường văn bản sẽ xuất hiện ở phần bên phải của trang.

Click the ☰ icon located in the top-left corner of the screen.

Click on Manage Accounts (Account Management). This option is located near the top of the menu.

Click ＋ Add Account (Add an Account). This option is located below your main account name.

Click Sign up (Register). The link for this is located at the bottom of the screen.

Fill in the details for a new account. You will need to provide the following information in the fields on the page:

• Full name
• New email address
• New email password
• Phone number
• Date of birth
• Gender (optional)

Nhấn Continue (Tiếp tục) ở cuối màn hình.

Nhấn Text me an Account Key (Nhắn cho tôi Khóa Tài khoản). Lúc này, Yahoo sẽ gửi tin nhắn đến số điện thoại được cung cấp nhằm xác thực tài khoản của bạn.

Click Let's get started (Begin) to be directed to your account. At this point, you will have a new Yahoo email address in addition to your primary one.

• On Yahoo, you can also create a temporary email address (or addresses). These can be used for newsletter subscriptions or similar purposes, and you can delete them once they are no longer needed.

• If you share a phone or computer, make sure to log out of your Gmail account after you are done.
