While browsing through the Discovery or Standouts tabs on Hinge, you might come across someone you know (maybe a friend or an ex) whose profile you don't want to interact with. How can you make sure they can't contact you? Today, Mytour will guide you on how to block someone on Hinge before matching with them.
Steps
Open Hinge. The app has a logo resembling the capital letter 'H' on a white background. You can find it on your Home screen, in the app drawer, or by searching for it.
Tap on the H. This is the 'Discovery' or 'Standouts' tab, where you can see profiles of people you might potentially match with.
Click on the three-dot menu icon ⋮ located at the top right corner of the person's profile space.
Tap on Remove (Delete). This is usually the first option in the menu.
Select the reason for deleting the person. The reason is your private information, and Hinge will not notify the person about it.
- After choosing a reason, a small dynamic "X" will appear, indicating that the deletion has been processed. Both you and the other person will no longer be able to see each other's profile.
