If your age on Bumble isn’t accurate, there’s no need to stress—it’s a simple issue to resolve. Since age is a crucial part of Bumble’s filtering system, keeping it correct is essential. Today, Mytour will guide you through updating your age on Bumble in two scenarios: accounts registered via Facebook and those registered with a phone number.
Steps
Changing Your Age Through Facebook

If you used Facebook to sign up for Bumble, your personal information is linked to your Facebook profile. An incorrect age on Bumble is usually due to an error in your Facebook profile. To fix this on Bumble, simply update your age on Facebook.

Log in to your Facebook account. Enter your email address or phone number and password, then click Log In.

Navigate to your profile page by clicking on your name and profile picture in the top-right corner. This will take you to your personal Facebook profile.

Under the “About” tab, click on the “Contact and Basic Info” section. You can find the “About” tab just below your profile picture on your personal page.

Under the “Basic Info” section, you’ll find your birthdate. Click the pencil icon on the right to edit your birthdate for accuracy.
- You can only change your birth year on Facebook twice. Therefore, double-check to ensure the year you enter is correct to maintain the authenticity of your profile.

After making your edits, click “Save.” Your birth year will be submitted for Facebook’s review!

Facebook will review and approve your age change request within approximately one day. Once approved, your age on both Facebook and Bumble will be updated accurately.
Changing Your Age if Your Account Isn’t Linked to Facebook

If you signed up for Bumble using your phone number, you might have entered incorrect information during the initial account setup. Unfortunately, there’s no way to edit your age directly on Bumble. Instead, you can submit a request for Bumble to update it for you.
