This article will guide you through the process of changing your Facebook display name to just one word or a single term. If you are not residing in Indonesia, you will need to use a VPN to access an Indonesian IP address.
Steps to Follow
Switch your language settings to Indonesian

Access Facebook using a web browser. You can use any web browser on your computer to make this change, such as Firefox or Safari. If you are not logged into your account, enter your username and password to proceed with the next steps.
- If you do not have a VPN service to access an Indonesian IP address, you should choose one before continuing. ZenVPN is a free option with a quick registration process.

Click on the downward arrow icon. It is located at the top-right corner of Facebook, next to the question mark (?).

Select Settings. This option is located near the bottom of the menu bar.

Choose Language. This option is situated around the middle of the left-hand column.

Click on Edit next to the "What language do you want to use Facebook in?" option. This is the first option displayed under the "Edit" section on the main screen.

Select Bahasa Indonesia from the dropdown menu.

Click on Save Changes. Do not close this window yet, as you will need it momentarily.

Enter the account name you wish to use in the “Depan” field. This is the first field on the page.

Clear the name in the “Belakang” field. This is the third field where your last name usually appears.
- If the name also appears in the “Tengah” field, delete it as well.

Click Tinjau Perubahan. This blue button is located below your name section. A confirmation window will appear.

Enter your password in the “Kata sand” field.

Click on Simpan Perubahan. This is the blue button located at the bottom-right corner of the window. This action will save your new single-word name.
