1. How to Change Your Name in Zoom Meetings
To modify your name on Zoom while learning or in a meeting, follow these steps:
* On PC
Step 1: During a meeting or class, click on Participants at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Enter the desired name in the text field and click OK to confirm the change.
* On mobile
Step 1: In the meeting, tap on Participants to display the participant list.
Step 2: Search and select your name from the list. Then, tap on it.
Step 3: Choose 'change name' and enter your new name in the text field to change the name, then press OK to complete the process.
2. Change the name of participants in Zoom meetings
Note:
- To change the name of participants in a Zoom meeting or online class as the host, you first need to create a meeting room and invite everyone to attend.
- Only the meeting host can perform this action from their end; participants do not have the authority to control this change on their own. If you wish to change your name as a participant, you'll need to contact your meeting host and submit a request to them.
* On PC
Step 1: Click on Participants at the bottom of the screen and hover over the name of the participant you want to rename.
* On mobile
Step 1: Tap on 'Participants' during the meeting or online class to view the names of all participants. Touch the name of the member you want to rename.
Step 2: On the new dialog box that appears on the screen, click on 'change name'.
Step 3: Enter the new name in the text field to rename the participant in Zoom meeting and click 'OK' to complete the renaming process.
3. How to Change Your Name before Joining Zoom
* On PC
Step 1: Open the online learning or Zoom meeting app on your computer, click on your profile icon and select My Profile. This will take you to your profile page.
Step 3: Enter the new name in the name, surname, and display name fields, press save to complete the process
* On mobile
Step 1: Open the Zoom app on your phone and click on Settings in the bottom right corner of the screen, then tap on your profile.
Step 3: Enter the desired name in the two text fields that appear and press Save to complete the process of changing your name.
* On Zoom US
In addition to changing your Zoom meeting name on your phone or computer, you can also update your name on Zoom.us. Here's how you can do it:
Step 1: Visit the Zoom.us page and click on login. Quickly access it Here.
Step 2: Enter your email, password, and click 'login'.
Step 3: On the Zoom.us workspace, click on 'Profile' and then click 'Edit' in the personal information section displayed on Zoom.

4. How to Change Your Name on Zoom before a Meeting
In addition to the methods mentioned above, changing your name on Zoom can be done before joining a meeting or online class without the need to participate first.
