Ever wondered how much money you've invested in the Steam gaming platform? Let's check the total amount you've spent on Steam games with the following instructions.
Step 1: Open Steam on your computer.
Step 2: On the main Steam interface, select Help and choose Steam Support for assistance.
Step 3: Next, choose My Account to gather additional information about the currently logged-in account.
Step 4: After that, select Data Related to Your Steam Account to access personal information.
Step 5: Finally, click on External Funds Used to see the amount you've spent on Steam games.
Step 6: Within the External Funds Used section, you'll find details such as:
- Total Spend: The total amount you've used to pay for products on Steam (calculated from the account creation date).
- Old Spend: The amount spent on Steam products before 17/04/2015. After this date, Steam implemented stricter account measures, requiring a minimum $5 deposit for certain features, causing inconvenience for many free-to-play users. This policy continues to this day.
- PW Spend: The total amount spent on products from Perfect World, a Chinese gaming company managing Valve's games (CS:GO, Dota 2) in China. This section is not relevant to us as we are from Vietnam, and it pertains to China.
