Mytour will guide you through the process of deleting your AOL account for free. Closing an AOL account doesn't require you to cancel any subscriptions or make any significant payments. To close your account, you'll need to use the AOL website – this cannot be done through the AOL mobile app.
Steps
Visit the AOL account deletion page. Open https://aol.mydashboard.oath.com/delete-my-account using a web browser on your computer.
Sign in to your account (if prompted). If asked for login details, enter your email address, click Next, enter your AOL password, and then click Sign in.
Click on Continue deleting my account button. This red button can be found near the bottom of the page.
Enter your email address. Click on the text box in the middle of the page, then type the full email address associated with your AOL account.
Click on Yes, terminate this account button. This blue button is located at the bottom of the page.
Click on Got it button. Once you click this, your AOL account will be deleted from their database and is in the process of being deactivated.
- It may take a few weeks for your AOL account to completely disappear from search engine results.
Advice
- If you have a free AOL account, you won't be charged for anything unless you add a description to your account.
Warning
- Once your AOL account is canceled, you won't be able to recover it.
