To activate Dark Mode in IDM, follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Launch IDM software on Windows 10
Step 2: Click on 'View' in the IDM toolbar, then select 'Dark Mode support'
Step 3: Next, a notification will appear stating 'IDM will utilize Dark Mode once enabled in Windows settings (right-click on desktop => personalize => colors => Dark app mode)'. Click 'OK' to proceed.
Step 4: Adjust the Dark Mode settings in Windows
+ On the desktop screen, right-click and select 'personalize'.
+ In the Window settings interface, click on 'Color' then choose 'Dark' under 'choose your Default app mode'
Step 5: Return to the IDM software interface, you will see that Dark Mode has been applied, the IDM background changes from light to dark.
After enabling Dark Mode, if you wish to disable it, you can do so by selecting 'View' from the IDM menu bar and unchecking the 'Dark Mode support' feature. IDM will then prompt for a software restart, after which Dark Mode will be disabled.
