The Jager Bomb is a popular party drink. A classic Jager Bomb consists of a shot (about 45 ml) of Jägermeister and half a 250 ml can of Red Bull. Drop the shot of Jager into a highball glass filled with Red Bull, and enjoy the fusion of these two drinks. Gather your friends, form a Jager Bomb circle, and ignite the party!
Steps
Prepare the drink

Chill the Jägermeister. Place the bottle in an ice bucket or refrigerator for at least half an hour before use. It doesn’t need to be frozen, but the temperature should be cold enough for an optimal drinking experience.

Pour Jägermeister into the shot glass. You will need a 45 ml shot of Jägermeister for a basic Jager Bomb. You can also make larger Jager Bombs, but that means you’ll need to increase the amount of Red Bull accordingly.

Pour half a can of Red Bull into a highball glass. This is the traditional Jager Bomb recipe. Be careful, as a 250 ml can of Red Bull contains up to 80 mg of caffeine.
- Substitute Red Bull with any drink that contains sugar or caffeine. Feel free to experiment with different energy drink brands, grape juice, or fruit sodas.
Enjoy the Jager Bomb

Drop the shot into the Red Bull glass. According to the "tradition," everyone should drop their shot glasses at the same time and drink the Jager Bomb together. Raise your glasses and count down (3... 2... 1!) to make sure everyone does it in unison. Drink the Jager Bomb immediately after dropping the shot into the glass.
- Place the shot glass on the rim of the highball glass and drop it in carefully. Dropping it from too high can cause the glass to break or spill the drink.

Finish the Jager Bomb. Once the shot has been dropped into the Red Bull glass, lift the highball glass to your lips and drink it all at once. Finish the mixture of Red Bull and Jägermeister to fully enjoy the Jager Bomb. Place the glass back on the table or bar to show that you’ve finished your drink.

Slow down for a moment. After drinking a Jager Bomb, you should take a seat and wait for the effects it will have on your body. The combination of alcohol and caffeine creates a unique effect that many people find highly enjoyable. However, consuming excessive amounts of caffeine or alcohol can be very dangerous, especially when combined. Caffeine floods your system and temporarily masks the sedative effects of alcohol, making you feel like you can keep drinking while still staying in control.
- If you are a teenager, limit your caffeine intake to around 100mg per day. Avoid having more than one or two Jager Bombs at each party.
- Be aware of the signs of caffeine overdose. Some mild symptoms include restlessness, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, and nausea. You may also experience insomnia, palpitations, sweating, and in more severe cases, dizziness, vomiting, or even cardiac arrest.
Tips
- Be sure to wash the glass immediately after use. Jägermeister and Red Bull can become sticky, and if left too long, they can be very difficult to clean because the sugar has hardened on the glass surface.
- If you want a more adventurous experience, you can try swapping Red Bull with another energy drink. Some people feel that Red Bull is too sweet for their taste.
Warnings
- Never drive after drinking alcohol.
- Don’t drop the shot glass from too high! You could splash the drink all over the counter.
- Do not drink alcohol if you are underage or pregnant.
