This guide explains how to search for images on Google using photos you already have. You can use Google's image search feature on your computer to upload a photo for searching, or use the Google Chrome browser on both your phone and computer to search for images online.
Steps
Using Google Search on a Computer

Go to Google Images by visiting https://images.google.com/.

- If you want to search for images related to a word or phrase, type the word or phrase into the search bar and press ↵ Enter to view the results.

Choose the method to upload the image. Select one of the following options:
- Paste image URL - Click this option if you have already copied the image’s web address. To copy the image's address, open the image, click the address bar at the top of the window to highlight the URL, and press Ctrl+C (on Windows) or ⌘ Command+C (on Mac).
- Upload an image - Click this option if the image you want to search with is saved on your computer.

Upload your image. This step will vary depending on the upload method you chose:
- Paste image URL - Click the search bar, press Ctrl+V (on Windows) or ⌘ Command+V (on Mac) and click Search by image.
- Upload an image - Click Choose File, find and select the image you want to use, then click Open.

View your search results. If your image exists online, you will see various sizes and versions of the image; if not, Google will display similar images to the one you uploaded.
