This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to sign out of Google Play on an Android device by logging out of your Google account on your phone and how to sign out of the Google Play website on a computer.
Steps
On an Android Device




Select the Accounts section. This section lists all the accounts currently logged in on your phone.
- On some Android versions, this section might be labeled as "Cloud & Accounts" or "Accounts & Sync," or similar variations.

Select Google. This option is located next to a white icon with a capital "G" in red, yellow, green, and blue. This action will display a list of Google accounts currently logged in on your phone.

Tap on the account you wish to log out of. The options for that account will appear.

Click on the ⋮ icon. This icon, consisting of three vertical dots, is located in the top-right corner of the Google account settings page. A dropdown menu will appear.

Choose Remove account. This is the second option in the dropdown menu at the top-right corner. A confirmation popup will appear to confirm account removal.

Select Remove account. This confirms that you want to delete the Google account and log out of all apps using this account.

On a Computer

Visit the website https://play.google.com using your browser. You can use any browser on your PC or Mac.

Click on your profile picture. Your profile picture is located in the top-right corner of the screen. A dropdown menu will appear.

Select Sign Out. This will log you out of your Google account from the Google Play website.
- To log back in, click the "Sign In" option in the top-right corner of the screen and enter the email and password associated with your Google Play account.
