Step 1: Select the text segment you want to remove accents from -> right-click and choose Copy or press the Ctrl + C keyboard shortcut:

Step 2: Open the Unikey software -> right-click on the bottom corner icon of Unikey, select Tools, or press the Ctrl + Shift + F6

Step 3: The dialog box appears; proceed with the following selections:
- In the Character Encoding: section, ensure that the source and destination encodings match and correspond to the encoding of the font being used. For fonts like Times New Roman, Arial, Tahoma, etc., use the Unicode encoding; for fonts like .VnTime, .VnTimeH, etc., use the TCVN3(ABC) encoding...
- In the Options section, check the box next to Remove Accents
- Finally, click on Convert

Step 4: The encoding conversion process to remove accents is successful, and the Result dialog box appears -> click on OK:

Press OK to return to Step 2 to copy the content again.
Step 5: Return to the text file requiring accent removal -> right-click and choose Paste or press the Ctrl + V keyboard shortcut to overwrite the content with the accent-removed result:
