Nowadays, the majority of our applications support two-factor authentication (2FA), and Authy is one of the popular tools for obtaining 2FA codes. With its advanced features, Authy offers a more sophisticated user experience compared to other software. In this article, Software Tricks will guide you on how to use Authy for two-factor authentication.

I. Installing the Application
Currently, Authy provides applications for both IOS and Android platforms. You can download it from the official website of the operating system:
For iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/authy/id494168017
For Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.authy.authy&hl=vi

II. Using the Authy Application
Once you have completed the installation, launch the software to begin using it.
Step 1: The first thing when using Authy is to verify your mobile number. As we are in Vietnam, select country code +84, enter your phone number, and press OK to complete.
After that, Authy will prompt you to choose a method to receive the authentication code. You can verify through another phone, receive the code via call, or text message.

Step 2: Once the verification is complete, you will return to the main interface of Authy. Here, select Add Account to add an account for obtaining 2FA codes.
You can use Scan QR Code to scan the code (1) or use the Manual Entry method (2) if the software does not support QR codes.
