Indeed, I did enroll in a thorough environmental protection course last year. We gained knowledge about trash management, sustainability, and recycling, all of which are quite beneficial.

2. Mô tả một chuyến thăm đáng nhớ đến công viên hoặc nông thôn.
When I was still in school about two years ago, we went on a field trip to a nearby natural reserve. We had to take a bus rental to get there because it was quite a distance from the city.
Even though attendance wasn’t required, the majority of my classmates showed up since they were eager to view the reserve’s iconic cliffs and its diverse fauna.
We spent the majority of the day there hiking, ascending the steep slopes, and photographing numerous birds and animals. The variation from our typical class activities was welcome. The instructor shared some knowledge with us about the many local wildlife species.
The trip really stuck in my mind because of the ideal balance of clean air, soft summer sun, and enjoyable physical activity. Despite having walked more than 20 miles that day, I felt refreshed and energized when I got home.

3. Bạn có tin rằng con người sẽ có thể sống hòa hợp với thiên nhiên vào tương lai không?
We need to look at the current pattern of human-nature relationships in order to respond to this question. Just recently have we realized the enormity of the harm we are doing after 150 years of systematic environmental destruction. Nature may be saved if we concentrate on repairing the harm we have caused, and in this situation, peaceful coexistence is definitely feasible. The meaning of “nature” might alter itself if things get out of hand and we return to our old production methods that neglect the environment. It will therefore change into a different form of query.
- Enormity (n): sự tầm cỡ
- Systematic environmental destruction (n): sự hủy hoại môi trường mang tính hệ thống
- Feasible (adj): khả thi
- Neglect (v): sao nhãng
- Query (n): truy vấn

Let's discuss the 'historic flood' that struck Hanoi ten years ago in 2008. This remains etched in the hearts of Hanoians.
It stands out since Hanoi’s many streets were submerged by the prolonged, intense rain that fell for several days straight. The rain was regarded as being the heaviest in the previous 100 years, which led to significant damage and suffering for many people. Since there was a record amount of precipitation, practically all activities were suspended to protect persons and property.
Several households even experienced flooding as a result of significant levels of water flying into their homes, according to statistics. To prevent any potential accidents that the heavy rain might cause, offices and educational institutions had to issue an emergency announcement asking their staff and students to stay at home. They had to wait until it stopped pouring, which caused a lot of disruption in daily life. Because of the huge mortality toll, chaotic traffic, and increased risk of hazardous illnesses, the rain caused problems for people in many other professions. Fortunately, after a few days, life started to return to normal owing to a united effort by the local government and numerous city residents.

IELTS Speaking questions using vocabulary from the weather topic
1. Which season do you enjoy the most?
My absolute favorite season is fall. Because of the low humidity, the cool weather makes me feel quite comfortable. Going for a stroll around the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area while taking in the breeze is one of my favorite feelings. It’s really amazing!
- Humidity (n): độ ẩm
- Going for a stroll (v): đi dạo
- Pedestrian area (n): phố đi bộ
2. Describe a weather type that you enjoy the most.
Others may think I’m strange, but in all honesty, I actually prefer snowy weather to all other types. I was born in Vietnam, where snow is incredibly rare and only occurs in one or two northern highland provinces.
I like it because I want to play in and be surrounded by lovely white snowflakes. I’m as giddy as a clam just thinking about making a snowman or flinging snow at my friends. I often wish I could travel to some Western nations like the United States, Sweden, or England to experience the bitter cold and marvel at the snowfall, one of nature’s most fascinating phenomena.
Also, I enjoy winter since it allows me to wear my favorite warm clothing, such as a sweater, heavy coat, or boots. Even though I am aware that living in cold weather is difficult, occasionally I shiver from the chill yet I genuinely want to experience that feeling. Many people are now aware that some countries’ temperatures are rising as a result of global warming, which is causing less snow to fall. I have to go so I can enjoy the real snow!
- Northern highland provinces (n): các tỉnh vùng cao phía Bắc
- Snowflakes (n): bông tuyết
- As giddy as a clam: ham chơi
- Fling (v): ném
- Bitter cold (adj): lạnh cong
- Marvel (n): kỳ quan
- Fascinating phenomena (n): hiện tượng hấp dẫn
- Shiver from (v): rùng mình bởi
3. Do you believe weather impacts our emotions?
Without a doubt, sure. People may feel motivated or in the mood to undertake specific tasks if the weather is nice. People may feel happier when it is cold or sunny outside; yet, if extremely unfavorable weather circumstances arise, such as intense heat or torrential rain, it is simple for people to feel down. Although the first snowfall may excite some people, dense blankets of snow combined with extreme cold can leave people depressed.
- In the mood (v): đang vui vẻ
- Torrential rain: mưa xối xả
- Dense blankets of snow: tuyết dày đặc
