1. How do people form friendships in Vietnam?

In my opinion, Vietnamese individuals are generally moderate and approachable, making it relatively easy to establish connections with others. Personally, there are several common methods. Firstly, the use of social media platforms such as Tinder, Instagram, or Facebook allows individuals to view photos and details regarding people’s interests, ages, and professions. This is among the most popular methods of making friends among Vietnamese youth.

Furthermore, individuals seeking more genuine and authentic experiences may join clubs to get to know others with similar interests. I believe that sincerity is the key to forming friendships with anyone.

Moreover, some individuals enjoy connecting with others while traveling, where locals provide insights into their culture beyond superficial appearances. They can also guide us to the most captivating places we’ve ever visited.

Nevertheless, I maintain the viewpoint that while shared hobbies often facilitate the formation of friendships, bonding over shared values and chemistry are even more significant factors in fostering lasting friendships.

Those who stand by us through thick and thin are truly the ones we cherish most in life.
