1. When do people find themselves needing to hurry? 

I believe it's typically when they face imminent deadlines at work or school, or when they have other upcoming events that require them to quickly finish their current tasks. Sometimes, people challenge themselves to see how swiftly they can complete a task too. 

• Near deadline (noun phrase) – Thời hạn sắp tới hoặc gần kết thúc. 
• Wrap things up (phrasal verb) – Hoàn thành hoặc kết thúc công việc. 

2. Why do some individuals spend a considerable amount of time on meals? 

From my perspective, mealtime is a rare opportunity during the day for individuals to unwind and relish the food prepared for them. It's also a time when people gather with friends and family, engaging in conversations and catching up while eating. Therefore, rushing through a meal in the company of others can be considered impolite. 

3. Would individuals feel more content if they completed tasks quickly?  

I think individuals take pride in completing tasks quickly, but this isn't always universal. For perfectionists, completing tasks quickly without the opportunity to review and adjust their work may not bring satisfaction.

4. What types of occupations require quick completion? 

Actually, all types. It could be an office task, a trade, construction work, or even homework, school assignments, or chores. At some point, every task needs to be completed hastily. 

5. Can you provide examples of tasks that need to be completed quickly? 

To be specific, there are certain situations where timely completion is crucial. Firstly, in chemical experiments where some chemicals cannot remain unused for too long, risking experiment failure. Another critical example is medical procedures. During surgery, a physician cannot afford to work slowly or take breaks; every action must be swift and precise for a successful outcome.

6. What factors contribute to some individuals being more productive than others in completing tasks? 

The initial consideration is how individuals approach their tasks. Some prefer a gradual start, seeking motivation and inspiration beforehand, while others prefer diving in immediately and reviewing their work later, often completing tasks more swiftly. Additionally, external influences significantly affect task duration. Persistent distractions can hinder productivity compared to those who work without interruptions.
