1. HSKK là gì?

Khác với HSK, HSKK viết tắt của 汉语水平口语考试 / Hànyǔ shuǐpíng kǒuyǔ kǎoshì /: Bài thi đánh giá kỹ năng nói tiếng Trung qua thu âm. Mục đích là đánh giá khả năng sử dụng ngôn ngữ nói, kiểm tra kỹ năng giao tiếp bằng tiếng Trung của người học không phải là người bản ngữ.

HSKK consists of 3 levels, each level will have a corresponding amount of vocabulary and accompanying grammar as follows:
Elementary level: Requires mastering about 200 common vocabulary words.
Intermediate level: Equivalent to 900 vocabulary words.
Advanced level: Equivalent to 3000 vocabulary words.

2.1 Practice pronunciation, speak loudly and clearly

To ensure a smooth exam, speaking loudly and clearly is crucial.
During the test, although candidates are seated one meter apart, the impact of noise is still significant. If your voice is soft or pronunciation unclear, it will be overshadowed by the voices of other candidates nearby. Therefore, practice speaking loudly and accurately to ensure the best performance in the exam.
Note on pronunciation: If you have difficulty with sounds like /sh/, /z/, /ch/, /zh/,... it's very dangerous. Focus on adjusting your pronunciation correctly, especially for these sounds.

3. Secrets to achieving high scores in HSKK exam

No matter which exam you participate in, you need to know the test format to avoid wasting unnecessary time during the exam.
The HSKK exam structure consists of 3 parts:
Part 1: Listen and repeat.
Part 2: Listen and answer questions / Describe images / Read a passage provided in the exam.
Part 3: Answer questions.

Note: Before starting the exam, you will have to answer questions about your name, nationality, and registration number.

• 你叫什么名字？/ Nǐ jiào shénme míngzì? / Tên của bạn là gì?
• 你是哪儿国人？/ Nǐ shì nǎ’er guórén? / Bạn đến từ đâu?
• 你的序号是什么？/ Nǐ de xùhào shì shénme? / Số báo danh của bạn là gì? (Chỉ đọc 5 số cuối).

This is basic information, so prepare well to minimize incorrect answers.
Exam format: When the machine finishes reading a sentence, you must wait until you hear a beep before answering. If you answer before, your answer will not be recorded and you will definitely lose points unfairly.

3.2 Take notes on the main points you've heard

You need to listen attentively, understand the main content without necessarily remembering every sentence, every word, every tone.
After the recording finishes speaking, retell it according to your memory as accurately as possible, without adding or subtracting. The most important thing is that the meaning of the sentence does not change.
If your Chinese handwriting speed is not fast, you can replace it by writing pinyin. As long as you can read the basic points in your draft when retelling.

3.3 Stay highly focused when answering

Because all candidates read aloud at the same time, you will be greatly affected. This easily distracts you, with many cases of misreading and mispronouncing words.
To overcome this, nothing else works but to prepare mentally well, always stay highly focused, and answer loudly enough to avoid being distracted by others.

3.4 Do not add or subtract when repeating the listening content

Adding or subtracting content when listening, although it may still be correct in terms of sentence content, you should prioritize answering as accurately as possible. This is something you should note to avoid losing points.
Example: 这皮鞋穿着很舒服 / Zhè píxié chuānzhuó hěn shūfú /.
When missing 'zhe' and adding 'de' to: 这皮鞋穿得很舒服 / Zhè píxié chuān dé hěn shūfú / => Both structure and meaning are correct but not the same as the original question, it will definitely be deducted points.

Maximize the use of 10 minutes during the test section transfer

At the end of part 1, you will have 10 minutes to prepare for parts 2 and 3.
Therefore, divide the time into 5 minutes to prepare for part 2 and 5 minutes to prepare for part 3.
After 10 minutes, there will be a notification that the 10-minute preparation time is over, and the next question will begin.

3.6 Identify the focus of the content of the painting

Nên sử dụng thành ngữ nếu có thể để đạt điểm cao. Nếu không nhớ thành ngữ, có thể đưa ra lời khuyên (Ví dụ như chúng ta nên và không nên làm gì? học hỏi từ bức tranh như thế nào?).

Mỗi bức tranh nên miêu tả từ 6-8 câu là đủ, hãy đảm bảo các câu bạn nói là chính xác và có ý nghĩa, không nên lan man lạc đề.

3.7 Đáp ứng đúng trọng tâm của câu hỏi

Khi hoàn thành phần cuối: Đáp ứng chính xác ý câu hỏi, sau đó mở rộng vấn đề, làm cho bài viết dài hơn bằng cách tiếp tục trả lời các câu hỏi như ai? cái gì? ở đâu?… Cuối cùng, rút ra bài học và áp dụng các thành ngữ tiếng Trung.
