LG OLED Flex LX3: TV with Flexible Curved Display
Following the Corsair Xeneon Flex, a gaming monitor featuring a W-OLED panel provided by LG Display, LG has recently introduced this technology to its new TV lineup, designed similarly to its own gaming monitors, known as LG OLED Flex LX3.The LG OLED Flex LX3 features a 42” curved display, capable of bending up to 900R and offering twenty curvature levels. Users can also adjust the tilt by 5 or 10 degrees, and the stand can help adjust the screen height up or down by 140mm.Thus, users will have both a flat 42” screen and a curved screen if desired.Other specifications include a 0.1ms response time, utilizing the Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor to reproduce images from various sources, supporting Dolby Vision at 4K 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 with VRR and auto low latency mode (ALLM). The screen also is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and has been certified AMD FreeSync Premium.Regarding software, the LG OLED Flex LX3 features new gaming apps, supports customized screensavers, provides shortcuts for popular apps, and lists connected input devices. Additionally, the Multi View mode allows users to view content from two different sources simultaneously.Presently, LG remains tight-lipped about the specifics regarding the features or pricing of the LG OLED Flex LX3.
