Many billionaires, entrepreneurs, singers, actors, and football stars from around the world have arrived in Vietnam aboard expensive private jets.
Billionaire Jets Converge in Da Nang
Over 120 guests including international investors, businessmen, and financiers have flown to Da Nang on expensive private planes to attend the international conference called Creative Connection. This meeting was held at a high-end resort on the Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang.
Representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam stated that the planes were granted permission to land at Da Nang International Airport from November 14 to 17. Fifteen planes originating from various financial and tourist hubs worldwide such as the UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, with registration numbers N383AJ, VPBJT, TPJ57DP, JJA095, AJ 601, were authorized to land here. During their stay at Da Nang Airport, strict security measures were enforced for this fleet of private jets.

The prices of these private jets range from several million USD upwards. Aviation authorities noted that this was the first time such a large number of private jets had simultaneously landed at Da Nang Airport.

In late December 2012, billionaire George Soros (an American) and his entourage arrived in Da Nang via a private plane.
Opting for Da Nang as their New Year's 2013 retreat destination, on the evening of December 29, 2012, the American-born Hungarian billionaire and his wife, along with friends and an entourage of 8, touched down at Da Nang International Airport aboard their private jet. During their stay, the billionaire couple explored famous tourist spots in Da Nang, Hoi An, and beyond.

At 83 years old, he continues to manage the Soros Fund Management investment firm and is hailed as the 'wisest billionaire in America.' His most famous venture was earning $1 billion USD from the UK financial crisis in 1992. His investment fund has been present in Vietnam since 2010.
Facebook CEO charters private jet to Vietnam
The founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, along with his then-girlfriend (now wife) and a group of American tourists, made a surprise visit to Vietnam during Christmas 2011.

The young billionaire rented 2 private jets along with a close-knit team of 4 professional bodyguards to Vietnam. The two private jets Mark Zuckerberg chartered in Vietnam. One jet for the CEO himself and his girlfriend Priscilla Chan, and the other reserved for his 4-person security team. The duo had an impressive vacation, with exciting experiences in Sa Pa (Lao Cai).
Despite being a billionaire, Zuckerberg lives very modestly and humbly, not purchasing any significant luxury items except for a high-end Audi A8 car and a personal driver. By early January 2011, he had just moved to a more spacious apartment with 5 bedrooms near the company's headquarters, but the house is nothing more outstanding than neighboring ones.

The Smith family rents a private jet for a vacation in Con Dao
The wealthy power couple, famously known as “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, unexpectedly chose Vietnam as their vacation destination. Brad Pitt – Angelina Jolie and their children flew on a private jet to Vietnam on November 10, 2011. During their time in Vietnam, they chartered a flight with Air Mekong from Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao. An airport staff member in Con Dao estimated that the cost for such a private flight would be no less than $15,000 USD.

This marks the first time the entire Jolie-Pitt “family” visited Vietnam. In 2006, Angelina and Brad visited Vietnam for tourism. At that time, many people on the streets captured images of the famous couple riding a motorbike and touring around Ho Chi Minh City.
Angelina Jolie returned to Vietnam with her adopted Cambodian son, Maddox, adopted Ethiopian daughter, Zahara, and biological daughter, Shiloh. At the end of February 2007, Angelina Jolie applied to adopt a Vietnamese child. In March 2007, Pham Quang Sang from Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City became the actress's adopted son. He was brought to the US and named Pax Thien. Before leaving, Angelina promised to bring Pax back to Vietnam multiple times so he wouldn't forget his homeland and roots.
Arsenal rides a private jet to Vietnam
On the evening of July 11, 2013 (local time), Arsenal FC members officially set off on their Asian tour for the summer of 2013. They traveled by a private jet.
