Next, click on the arrow icon to reveal the Advanced section. Sometimes, you might receive an important notification but don't have the time to address it immediately. In such cases, you can postpone the notification using the Allow Notification Snoozing option. Next time, simply swipe the notification to the right or left and tap on the clock icon to snooze it for 1 hour.
3. Advanced Options
Returning to the Advanced section under Notifications on the Settings screen, you'll find other options such as Suggested actions and replies - a feature that helps you respond to a notification, Allow notification dots which lets you preview specific notifications, Blink Light which flashes a blue light when there's a notification, Default Notification Sound allowing you to change the sound played when receiving a notification, and with Swipe Fingerprint For Notifications, you can swipe on the Fingerprint reader to view notifications.
4. Do Not Disturb Mode
Users can always activate the Do Not Disturb mode to silence all notifications, incoming calls, messages, and more. Within the Do Not Disturb screen, you can choose to allow certain calls/messages from specific contacts, limit both visual and auditory alerts or only sound notifications, set active hours for the Do Not Disturb mode, and schedule specific times to automatically turn this mode on and off. Simply tap the Turn On Now button when you want to activate Do Not Disturb mode.
5. Alert Type Options
You have control over the type of alerts received for a current notification. Swipe down from the top of the screen to display current notifications, long-press on one of the notifications, and you'll have 2 options: Alerting and Silent. Alerting emits sound and vibrates the device, whereas the Silent option reveals the notification silently without emitting any sound or vibration. Choose and tap Done or Apply to save changes.
