How to Save Formulas in MathType
Step 1: To save formulas in MathType, open the MathType software interface.
Step 2: Input any formula you wish to save in MathType. Pay attention to the 3 spaces called Small Bar, Large Tabbed Bar, and Small Tabbed Bar.
The Small Bar, Large Tabbed Bar, and Small Tabbed Bar serve as locations to save formulas similar to characters available in MathType.
Step 3: After writing the formula, simply highlight the entire sequence to proceed with saving the formula in MathType.
Step 4: Next, drag and drop the formula to any position within the 3 spaces known as Small Bar, Large Tabbed Bar, and Small Tabbed Bar mentioned earlier.
Step 5: Immediately, you will see the formula with reduced characters displayed in the spaces of MathType, specifically in the Large Tabbed Bar as shown in the image.
Step 6: You can perform the same action with the other 2 bars to achieve the same result.
Step 7: To utilize, simply click on the icon of the saved formula in MathType.
Step 8: In case you want to delete, right-click on the formula icon > select Delete.
