3. Example Speaking Part 2: Describe your family
Listen to the Podcast sample for IELTS Speaking Part 2 - Describe your family:
My family has always been a fundamental part of my life. There are four individuals in our household: my mother, father, younger sister, and myself. We also have a pet cat whom my sister adores, sometimes referring to him as our fifth family member.
My mom works as a bank clerk while my dad serves as a police officer. His job in law enforcement keeps him busy, often away during meal times. Recently graduated from high school, my sister is now aiming to enter her dream university. I'm currently in my junior year at a different university than my sister's choice.
Our family is tightly knit. I can't speak for other families, but ours truly feels that way. We have a tradition where mom Mytourares a special meal for us every weekend. With dad usually available at that time, we gather around the dinner table to bond and enjoy something special that's not part of our daily routine. Mom's delicious signature dishes certainly add to the experience.
The importance of family cannot be overstated. I find it hard to imagine life without my loved ones.
