Nghe file về chủ đề Giá trị tại đây nhé:
2.1. Những tài sản nào mang lại danh vọng cho người dân trong nước của bạn?
I think that depends on which classes that people belonging. As people in the manual working class, the possession of houses could be recognized as a sign of status, this group of people includes blue-collar workers who just work to make ends meet and buy a house. However, people in the middle class and upper class normally have a wider range of possession that can give status to them.
These all people are well off and reach the dizzy heights of managers, presidents, and CEOs, as a result, they often pay through the nose on pricey products like clothing, cars, villas, and mansions.
2.2. Đó đã luôn luôn như vậy hay những tài sản khác từng được coi là quý giá trong quá khứ?
Honestly, I don’t know, I’m still too young to know the similarities and differences. But I think some valuable things like gold and jewelry could be the same because they are all expensive from the past to now. The differences could be noticed in the wider range of possession.
Cars and many other high-end products have just been imported to Vietnam in a few years, so people couldn’t own these things as valuable possession in the past. A brand new Mercedes-Benz or a Hermes Himalayan Crocodile Birkin, to a certain extent, can be seen as more valuable than jewelry, gold, and even houses.
2.3. What is the reason why people feel the need to display their status in society?
I think this could be because all people want to receive a good impression from other people. Although we all are taught “don’t judge a book by its cover”, we all form an impression of other people at the very first sight.
As a result, individuals, including those who rarely strike it rich, often waste money on luxurious goods. Additionally, people often enjoy more comfortable lives and greater opportunities when they make a positive impression on others.Dưới đây là tổng hợp một số từ vựng và cách trả lời cho chủ đề Giá trị trong phần thi IELTS Speaking, hy vọng chúng có thể giúp ích cho bạn trong việc chuẩn bị cho kỳ thi IELTS.
